fitness goals for 2011

by the end of 2011, i'd like to be able to do:

• 10 pull ups
• 5 handstand push ups
• pull a car
• run a marathon under 4

goal

i still desire to do this:
a recommended QT of sorts

15 minutes of praise/ worship
15 minuutes read a portion of the gospel in present tense; left self be in the story
15 minutes pray the gospel passage back to God
15 minutes sit there and let yourself be loved by Go

New deadline?

marathon's less than a week away and it looks like neither of us will be meeting our goal -- so how about extending the deadline to the end of the year? what do you think?

burning desires

so there's a part of me that wants the partner track and another part of me that wants to home school and then the stubborn part of me that says i can do both. my man just laughed...
God's good - He'll show us what to do in His own time... until then we'll just laugh together at my unrealistic goals :) ha ha ha

competition progress

or lack there of... my man's up to 230lbs but i'm still hovering around 50 push ups. honestly with the marathon being a month away, i don't know if i have the energy to do 100...
i think my man will get to his goal soon :) way to go!

My list of "I wants..."

(not necessary in this order)...
1. I want to be an interior designer. maybe once we're all done with kids and they're in school - i'll go back to school...
2. i want to run an ultra marathon.
3. i want to run a sub-8 min pace marathon
4. i want to expand God's kingdom by discipling younger ladies
5. i want to have a home that invites people in. i would love to have a basement that is set up so that small groups and various BS can use it as a meeting place. with the works! you know, a coffee bar, a pool table, comfy couches, etc...
6. i want to own a lake house that we can use to loan out to people in the ministry who need a vacation
7. i want a mansion that we can fill with kids adopted from north korea. (is that feasible? i don't even know if that's politically possible at this point...)
8. i want to invest in my kids so that my kids "rise up and call me blessed" (pr 31:28). when i come into the room, their faces lit up when they see their mommy.... even when they're teenagers!
9. i want a marriage that brings honor and glory to Jesus and is a testimony to the grace and mercy of Christ.
10. i want 6 pack abs - ok, i'll settle for a 4 pack :)
